Advancing Environmental Monitoring through Multi-Satellite Data Fusion — Helios Joins ArkEdge Space’s SBIR-Selected Project

We are pleased to announce that Helios Co., Ltd. has been selected as a joint project partner in the R&D project led by ArkEdge Space, titled “Development of Detection, Analysis Methods, and Platform for Environmental Changes and Risks Utilizing Multiple Satellites.”

This project aims to develop efficient analytical methods and a geospatial information platform incorporating satellite data, leveraging the unique characteristics of remote-sensing technology. Through this approach, the project seeks to enable long-term and wide-area monitoring of environmental changes and their impacts—effectively and sustainably—even under limited human and financial resources.

In particular, the initiative focuses on the early detection and identification of environmental alterations and associated risks caused by both human activities and natural phenomena, including disasters. By sharing these data and analytical insights among diverse stakeholders, the project seeks to support the formulation and implementation of effective countermeasures, as well as contribute to the advancement of nature-capital conservation businesses.

Helios will contribute to the project through its expertise in satellite system design, sensor integration, and data-processing technologies, providing both technical proposals and implementation support. Working closely with ArkEdge Space and other participating organizations, we aim to drive the project seamlessly from demonstration to social implementation.

Through this collaboration, we are committed to contributing to the advancement of satellite remote-sensing technology and promoting the creation of new value toward a sustainable future.
